What’s your story that needs to be told? Contact Nick!
Photography is my professional hobby and my capacity for weddings is 1 to 3 per year, I do not charge a professionals price. Instead you get a great, active, and experienced photographer for a very reasonable price. On top of that, I care very much about my photography and the end result that is delivered.
For weddings, I charge a flat rate ($1000), which gives you an unlimited number of captured moments. Senior pictures, engagement photos, and/or portrait sessions begin at $200, but is negotiable based upon what is desired. Engagement photos are half-price if I am also doing your wedding photography!
If you are interested in giving me the opportunity to be your photographer, then please contact me soon. As mentioned, my capacity is limited as is my availability.
What you get!
There are no formula or predefined list for what I photograph. If there is a certain photo that you’ve seen from either my work or somewhere else, then I am happy to reproduce it. However, my edge is my ability to creatively pose unique photographs in any situation.
Starting at the base rate, you will get as many photos as I can capture in your special day (up to 8 hours) or for your session. From those taken, I will use good judgement to select the best photos to perform any minor touch-ups to make them even better. This includes duplicating some of the photos to convert into Black & White or Sepia-toned. Then, all photos will be delivered to you digitally on either CD or DVD.
Additional costs include but are not limited to, extra CDs or DVDs, video slide-shows made from the photos, advanced editing of photos, cropping photos to proportionately fit print sizes larger than 4×6, and/or extra time spent.
Most of my photography “career” has been using Canon 35mm cameras (Canon AE-1 P and Canon Elan 7E) with high-end Fuji film (color) and Ilford (black & white). However, over the last 5 years the rising cost of print and lowering cost of digital significantly narrowed the gap. Likewise the style of wedding photography has become much more artistic, which usually requires some form of post-production, which is both difficult and time-consuming without the proper resources.
Despite my strong feelings that the quality of film is better than [most] digital, I could not resist to make the switch. So in early 2007 I purchased my first set of digital equipment (Canon Rebel XTi with a set of Tamron lenses). To say the least, the decision to go digital was an intelligent move. Because of the aforementioned costs of print film, I was cautious in using my camera. In the summer of 2009, I was able to make a significant upgrade to my camera – it is now the robust and versatile Canon 50D with prosumer line Tamron lenses and most recently added a Canon L-series as my primary lens.
